Live Light-her Impact

Our passion extends beyond creating exceptional sports bras with sustainable materials! We are also committed to forming a tribe of powerful partnerships with organizations who lift gals impacted by trafficking and trauma.

Our partners fight tirelessly to prevent, rescue and restore gals from human trafficking, exploitation and trauma. With every purchase, you make partnering with these remarkable organizations possible. Together, we can amplify the light of our impact on the darkest of situations!

Together, We Lift the Girls!

Prevention is Key to lifting women out of abuse

Prevention

True prevention would mean, we completely stop human trafficking, exploitation and hurt from ever happening or even existing. This type of prevention is our ultimate aim but only possible with healing, at the heart of humanity. The reality is we live in a broken world with hurting people. Wherever there are people, there are hurting people and often times, hurt people, hurt people. This is not meant to excuse the behavior of those who hurt others but instead provide a glimpse into how deep and vast the ocean of hurt and oppression is around our world. Trafficking and exploitation are real and dark tactics meant to kill, steal and destroy all that is intended for good. Although true prevention is the desire of our heart, prevention can also mean to deprive something of the power to act or succeed. We believe the more people who are aware, educated, praying, providing resources and battling on the front lines, the more we can deprive the darkness of power and restore the light of hope to the millions of victims of trafficking.

Together, we shine the light!

Rescuing those victimized by human trafficking and exploitation is not for the faint of heart. With the heart of a warrior, some are called and brave enough to charge toward the front lines of the battle. Although not everyone feels called to the front lines to rescue, we are ALL called to support the mission of freeing the captives and advancing the Light! Freeing the captives begins with all of us being aware of the signs of trafficking and exploitation. Trafficking can often times be hidden in plain sight, and how someone is rescued may look different depending on their unique situation. For some, rescue may look like extraction from a brothel or pimp house, while for others it may mean knowing they are supported with resources as they courageously choose to stand up and escape. Here are a couple of organizations with education and resources to help you know what to look for: SharedHope or A21.

Restoration

Restoration begins with rescue. While rescue removes the victim from a toxic place of enslavement to a safe place of physical freedom, their journey to complete restoration is just beginning. Each gal's journey is unique, as are the resources and support she will need along her way. Her journey to mental and emotional freedom will be one of daring courage, perseverance, set-backs, tenacity and celebration. Every gal deserves to celebrate freedom and know she has God given purpose. Every gal who bravely traverses the road from rescue to restoration, radiates light to another gal enslaved in the darkness. Most of us will never experience the horrors of sex trafficking and the resulting mental and emotional trauma, but all of us can offer hope. Each time you purchase a Live Light-her product, we provide essential resources and support to non-profits helping to restore hope and healing to those impacted by trafficking and trauma.

Together, we help restore "her" light!
